South of the Gotham River is the vast industrial complex that houses much of Gotham's employers. Factories and industry dominate the once water logged marshlands that marked the southern most reaches of the city. The industrial area houses over 600 factories and industrial sites. Including; Red Hood chemicals, O'Tolleys meat processing plant, Zeus Industries, Laffco, Panacea Chemicals, Melcom Industrial, Melcom medical (get back to Y'all when I find my list of Pentex subsidiaries etc.) The Freight airport has also helped keep the district from going under. Changing Breeds, Native Americans and sensitive mortals have long held that a powerful secret is hidden somewhere to the south of the city and it is not unusual for members of the supernatural community to hunt here in the hope of finding something.
