CEI deals in a variety of fields; most notable are the three TV channels and a radio station, but other fields include chemical and military research and development, merchant banks (affiliating, for instance, New York-based Chase Manhattan) and shopping centres.
Mr Crosby says "I thoroughly expect CEI to make a significant contribution to Gotham's economy, as well as provide around 30,000 jobs throughout the city."
