BA'ALI CULTISTS

Hannibaal is an important member of his Bloodline, and through scattered members of the Ba'ali he has a wide reach across America, but in Gotham he survives by remaining strictly low key. He has a small group of mortal cultists drawn from the intelligencia, the bored rich and the clubbers, and from among this throng, two have risen to the position of inner sanctum staff. These pawns mean little to him and are expendable, but even in his masquerade, he retains two Revenants to do his bidding.

ABDULLAH, Chatiphata Revenent
Abdullah is a typical member of the Chatiphata Revenant family, both physically impressive and mentally limited. He enjoys his work as Hannibaal's thug and very little could tempt him away from his position and the treats that come with it. His ability to absorb damage that would kill a normal human several times over, linked with his Infernal gift of regeneration, make him the perfect protector and shield for Hannibaal. Used equally as a bodyguard for his master and as an agent in the field, Abdullah dresses to show off his physique. Loose flowing trousers and a turban, together with a curved scimitar, seem over the top, but Hannibaal's Arabian pet makes him as popular at parties as his own wit and presence.

SABINE, Shi'lat revenent
Sabine is, unsurprisingly, a sick and twisted fuck! She has been enthralled to Hannibaal for almost half a century and knows as much about the Ba'ali business in Gotham as her regent does. The Clubs liquor licence is in her name, as are all official documents, and she handles all PR and financial aspects of the Lachrymatory. Behind closed doors, Sabine is Hannibaal's high Priestess and mistress of ceremony. Unlike the expendable fools who flock to him as cultists, Sabine is a partner in most of the debauchery, and so long as she doesn't fail her master, is free to enjoy all the benefits of his position.

The Shi'lat Witch has a network of contacts across the city, trading favours, info and her body for magical texts and ingredients. From the Voodoo Queens of darktown to the Hippies in the woods, Sabine likes to spread her net wide. Strikingly attractive and petite, the olive skinned Sabine rarely cracks a smile, her gaze is cold and penetrating and her conversation clipped.

CLAUDE, Mortal Cultist.
Claude is the prime example of a serial killer, growing up in an abusive environment and having above average intelligence. He began pulling the wings off flies as a toddler and graduated to nailing puppies to fences before Pre-School. By the time he was a teenager he had mastered the art of Rohipnol aided rape and was beginning to formulate his plan for killing residents in the woman's dorm when Hannibaal found him. The filth that swilled around in the youngsters mind called the Vampire from across the campus and the Ba'ali couldn't resist such a perfect pawn. Introducing Claude to the basics of satanism and pointing him towards charlatans such as Anton le Vay, Hannibaal shaped the quite loner into an admirable cultist. What morals or squishiness that had survived his upbringing were expunged and by the time he graduated, Claude was a fully-fledged Ba'ali cultist with the controlling interest in his Soul bartered away and was awaiting the dark gift of his Regent. To Hannibaal, Claude is a dupe unworthy of being Ghouled, let alone the embrace, and he has already begun to bore of the fool.

MEREDITH De WINTER, Mortal Cultist
Daughter of one of Gotham's richest families, bored debutant and wild child Meredith De Winter was drawn to Hannibaal after visiting his club. The dashing and amoral Host swept her off her feet and every new perversion he suggested only incited her passions all the more. Now, two years later, Miss De Winter is hooked on Cocaine, implicated in the murder of a former Beau and completely under Kinkaid's spell. Her family despair at her antics and fear that soon she will commit and act that not even their lawyers can buy their way out of.
