A living doll, everywhere you look.
It can sew, it can cook,
It can talk, talk, talk. . . .
My boy, it's your last resort.
Will you marry it, marry it, marry it.

Story
The Sinclair Dynasty are descended from the Scottish St Clair family and their History in America is old as the nation itself. The St Clair family have been the centre of Scottish freemasonry and a dominant force within the modern Templer's for centuries and much of their wealth and power comes from these connections. Marguerite was the daughter of the orders Grande Master and whomever she married was destined for greatness. Other women would have capitulated to male domination, and surely would not have been able to deny the requests of the order about her life, but this headstrong young woman had her own ideas. The secret influences of her Vampiric ancestor didn't hurt either. Lady Marguerite is the descendant, friend and agent of the Toreador Vampire Etienne St Clair.
Her first two marriages added furthur wealth to the family fortunes and by the time she married her third husband she was well respected enough to be allowed to choose her partner. Without a second thought she married Dr Richard Madston, the Chief Medical Officer of Gotham City.
While the men in the family are littered throughout the Cities prime positions of power, District attorneys, Surgeon generals, previous mayors, councillors, lawyers and doctors, the women dominate the social whirlpools. Lady Marguerite Sinclair is the most powerful woman in the drawing room circuit by dint of age, family and wit. Almost no merger of upper class families occurs without her hand in the matchmaking and the health of Gotham's businesses has as much to thank her for as it does the Vampires and the mortal magnates.
