Physical Description
Sachiko looks like what she is, a 17-year-old Eurasian girl. She is small, a mere 5'0, with olive skin and long almost-black hair up in a braid. Her almond-shaped eyes are a startling shade of gold, and she often smiles as she speaks. Her clothes tend to look a little threadbare and out-of-fashion, as if she raided a college professor's old closet. Sometimes, on very warm days, Sachiko wears tank-tops and shorts, but they are out-of-fashion or with an slight Oriental flavor.

As Yumei, an eshu wilder, Sachiko's hair is a true black, almost with the glint of starlight on it, and her eyes almost glow like the sun. Her features are a little more Asian, but her skin darkens to a more African look. Her voile change from either a sarong or a kimono to better-fitting versions of her mortal garb. Her voice brightens, bubbling with stories untold.

Personality
Sachiko is a polite young woman, speaking softly as she explains things. She is rather sensible, until it comes to romance, in which she is hopeless, smiling and giggling like a teenager, trying to encourage others to be that way as well. She tries to do her best, and often takes up dares just to prove they can be done.

Sachiko has unnervingly fast mood swings sometimes, laughing one moment to crying the next. Normally, it takes a trigger to set her off, though, and she normally tries to stay away things that give her such a response.

Story
Sachiko was born to a Italian-American English professor and a Japanese bookstore owner. Sachiko's mother loved books, and Sachiko's first memories were of sitting in her mother's lap, listening to Kasumi's voice. Ever since, Sachiko has had many books. The family didn't have enough money for a television, but Carmichael was always able to get tickets for opera, and to pay the bills.

Sachiko's neighbor, Isaac O'neil, took a shine to the little girl and babysat her, teaching her how to tell stories and treating her like family.

As Sachiko went into the higher levels of education, she was accepted into Winters Tech, and at this point, she is starting her 11th grade there. She also has a part-time job as a storyteller at a local cafe, giving her some minor fame for her tales, but other than that, she simply wanders about the city, often jumping to strange locations to be alone with her thoughts and memories.
