Jonesboro

Race Fae (Inanimae)
Splat Glome
Title Stalwart barkeep

Physical Description
Jonesboro seems to be about 46 years old. A huge man, almost 6 and a half feet tall and built as solidly as a linebacker. Most of his usual bar-goers believe he bench presses kegs for fun. He is bald with a tan-yellow skin and eyes that resemble baked mud. Although not handsome, Jonesboro easily flirts with many of the loosened up bargirls.

Personality
Jonesboro is quick with a joke and dislikes dour, drunk men crowding his bar space. His casual grin sets most newcomers at ease although more than a few drunken fools have literally flown across the street after being thrown out of the bar for causing a ruckus. His favourite game is to casually flirt with a giddy woman looking for company, then drop a line that just gives her a head-spin. He usually gives his marks a free drink for the amusement.

Story
There was a flash and a dull rumble, the Glome awoke from his Slumber for a moment. He saw the sky for the first time in a millennia and went back to sleep, dreaming of birds and clouds.

A crash and a scream that pierced the Dreaming, awoke the Glome for a second time in less than 20 years. Safe inside its Anchor the Glome watched an unusual type of Inanimae expire Dreaming and Glamour as a shattered gargoyle lay at its feet. No one seemed to notice the dying Inanimae they were all looking up to the sky.

Since that day, Jonesboro has learned to interact with all the humans and other denizens of the city. His Anchor is a piece of granite that stabilizes part of the St Clair Reparatory. He has built a casual bar that many of the after-theatre goers attend. Its perfect placement right across the street seems to catch their eye after a show and many become regulars after seeing the simple charm of the bar or Jonesboro's excellent microbrews. His bar is called O'Connell's Pub giving many to believe that he is Irish, and Irish bar bands do play there.

To those who know him for more than a rock-solid giant, he is the entity to go to for many of the city's enigmas, especially those concerning with many of the ancient building's secrets that dot the cityscape.
