Physical Description
Jessie Delaney has white blonde hair, blue eyes, and a willow build. She is 28 years of age.

Personality
She has a gentleness and strength about her that makes people want to confide in her. She is a born leader like her father and brother but with the way she feels about her Dad would never admit it. She is a very compassionate person a caretaker by nature. This is probably her greatest strength and weakness.

Story
She is the only daughter of Congressman Martin Delaney. She never agreed with her father's politics to begin with but it was shortly after the disappearance of her brother Alex that the schism between father and daughter became clear. Her brother was kidnapped from prep school around his seventeenth birthday. All though the rest of the family has given him up for dead Jessie has never stopped searching for him. It was because of her brother's disappearance that she went to law school and became an activist for women's and children issues.

Jessie was always empathic even as a child but as she grew older her gift for sensing & knowing what people were thinking became uncanny. She met her mentor and lover Paolo Demarco in law school. He was a professor at the college. But it was their gift and shared love of nature and all things wild is what truly brought them together. She was instantly attracted to Paolo because of the sense of vitality and wildness that hovers about the man like a second skin.

At age twenty-one she came into her majority and the rights to her trust fund. That is when she began a halfway house called Delaney house(see description below) in memory of her brother Alex.
