Damaged Street Kid |
Physical Description
In her mortal guise, Spyder is a pretty teenager whose features have been hardened and hollowed by life on the streets. She dresses as many street kids do, in too many layers of ill-fitting tattered clothes. Her eyes are shockingly red-amber.
In her fae mien, Spyder's long but scraggly black hair is more luminous, pulled off her long neck and held with a spider comb. Her shoulders, left almost bare by the thin straps of her ice-blue princess dress, are wrapped in a sparkling spiderweb of a shawl; the tattered hem of her dress reveals the toes of combat boots, but trails behind her in back.
Personality
Spyder is usually quiet, though she will occasionally express her discomfort after a bad day's panhandling when she's cold and hungry. She tends toward quick, darting movements, almost never speaks above a whisper, and tries to stay out of large groups.
Story
Once upon a time in a land far away, Sarah Baxley-Birnham grew up in a loving home, embraced by the warmth and caring of parents that accepted and adored all her strange habits.
After a visit from a few vampires, that was all wiped away.
Sarah died that night, to the funerary notes of her mother's screams. Left behind was Baxley Spyder, a street-girl and changeling who knew very little about what she was. After five years on the streets, she's a gunshy kid with a lot of past for someone her age bottled up inside and an almost desperate desire for the fairy-tale to return.
