AKA John Lun-Lee

| Race | Human |
| Splat | Sorcerer |
Title |
Ex Crimeboss of Chinatown |
Physical Description
Muscular and stocky, Khan wears the form of John Lun-Lee with the same arrogance he once displayed in his own body. Equally comfortable in suits or mandarin robes he likes to be seen as a man of power. In his mindseye Akril still sees himself dressed in the full set of Mongolian armour he once wore in his private sanctum while dreaming of one day crasping the City in his podgy fingers.
Personality
Sadistic and mean, Khan's nature is as ugly as his rise to power. The closer he allies himself with the forces of Yomi, the darker his tastes in amusement become. Khan led through fear and threats and none dared challenge him in his Ghetto. Since his return to the land of the living he has taken over the Lun-Lee family and is tempering his own style of leadership with an impersonasion of the man he pretends to be.
Story
Khan's grandfather, the Mage Kwon Akril, built the Temple of the five Dragons in Chinatown atop a powerful node. A contemplative member of the Akashic Brotherhood, Kwon's name is still spoken with awe. Khan, however, developed none of the old mans patience or serenity, becoming instead arrogant and selfish. He wanted the Chinese to take their enemies by force and to keep the wide eyes out of China town, He also wanted power, riches and luxury. From an early age, Khan joined the Tongs and ran riot throughout the streets. Kwon's methods of discipline were to try and show Khan the folly of his ways by appealing to his better nature. Unfortunately, Khan didn't have one.
Eventually Khan left with a few supporters, ostensibly to take his war to the enemy, but in truth to run with his gang. Not all of Kwon's lessons had gone unhindered though, and Khan did burn to wipe the foul Nephandi from the city. But he wanted to do it mostly so he might usurp their power. After five years, Khan had grown into a power Tong boss with 30 men and boys under his command. His rap sheet read like war and peace and even the other Tong bosses began to fear his meteoric rise to power.
Finally, confidant that he was ready, he sought the aid of an old Chinese wizard and with the aid he got from the darker eastern Arts he took his army to snatch the power of the Devil mages in Neon City.
The Man that returned from that sound defeat was not the same man who Kwon had tried in vain to teach wisdom. Khan Akril thirsted only for the things he had seen among the Nephandi and returned to the Wizard to discover what he must do to achieve them. The wizard taught Khan his secrets and with the knowledge given to him by his grandfather, he surpassed the old man before vary long. Still little more than a sorcerer, Khan wealds powerful and malevolent forces.
Khan grew to become the most feared Tong leader in Chinatown. His methods were brutal and despicable, turning the street of Chinatown into a no go area for almost a year. Eventually Khan's assassinations and take-overs united all the Tongs under his banner. He became the undisputed Khan of Chinatown to match his given name, taking over a several legitimate companies including a laundry service and a fireworks manufacturing company. Since that time, Khan and his infernal allies have been competing with the much larger Crime cartels of the Family and the Garou, as well as the Gangs from within Darktown.
Khan Akril came close to achieving his dream with the ancient artifact known as the Obsidian Canes. However a co-alition of supernaturals led by the Sabbat Templer Titus Bane dealt him a defeat by having the statue destroyed. Titus bane later confronted Akril in his lair and killed the Sorcerer along with his demonic minions.
But for Akril death was not the end. His Spirit mentor Yeh-lu Chu'tsai (now revealed to be in truth the Demon Bhuzarhadaa) 'bought' his soul from the Yama King Erlik Khan, Mongolian Lord of the Dead, and carried him off to a corner of Hell to be retrained. Akril was returned to Gotham as one of the Hungry dead butt his Body was lost and Akril had to search for a corpse to inhabit and resurrect as one of the Yulan-Jin. The Body he found was that of John Lun-Lee, son of the Legitimised Beijing criminal Pai Lun-Lee who was assasinated by the Child of Haquim San-Berto.
Upon raising the stolen body, Akril killed the mans father and took control of the cartel. Now he has his eyes set on returning to power, and revenge against those who thwarted him!
