Ash

Race Vampire
Splat Toreador
Concept Head of Ashlar records

Physical Description
Ash is handsome in a pretty way, with a well groomed apperance and good dress sense. His eyes are slightly almond shaped and his ears have the tiniest point to them, neither of which are noticable unless up close. Slighly more noticable are the length of his fingers. Whatever mat be strange in his appearance are forgotten when he speaks in his ever cheerful Scottish Brogue.

Personality
For one who has lost so much, the daylight, his heritage, the bitter beauty of the highlands and mastery over his own destiny, Ash is a very cheerful fellow. Much can be made of the similarities between Ash and his Sire, Ettienne St Clair, both are well educated, stylish and talented.

Story
Ashlar lived in a remote and backwards community in the far northern raches of the Scottish Islands. His family were never popular because local fishwives swore blind that they were kin to the Trooping Fairies, the Fair folk. Ash's maternal grandmother even swore blind that they were direct descendants of the Pict's, a family who never interbred with the Scotti. Then again, she also claimed that a band of Cats would meet each Samhain on Caithness and dance around like men so he didn't take it all that seriously.

Ashlar was gifted with a perfect ear, perfect pitch, he could hear a tune once and almost immediatly repeat it on a variety of instruments. He formed choirs and accapella groups for festivals and village hall productions. his abilities and his angelic singing voice attracted the attention of one of Scotlands Blood drinkers.

Ashlar was embraced by the enigmatic Vampire Ettienne and whisked away to America. Once in Gotham, Ettienne lavished his childe with money and gifts and allowed him to continue making music. Due to the money and protection of Ettienne, Ashlar, now simply Ash, has managed to keep abreast of mortal tastes and is constantly surrounded by the living. His has internet and telephone friendship with countless stars and artists across the globe.

I cannot put a Bio up here for Ash without admitting where he came from. He was originally used in a TT game as an Archon and was inspired by the fact that I was reading Taltos, the third book in Anne Rice's Witching Hour series. Hence the refference to his being slightly Fae.
