Lady Maura Raeburn ap Eiluned
AKA Lady Aislin Byrne

Race Changeling
Splat Sidhe
Title Eiluned

Physical Description
Poised and elegant, Lady Aislin Byrne is the epitome of grace and dignity. Her porcelain skin and flowing dark hair are the very incarnation of ideal British nobility. Every movement is well-placed with the refinement of queens. Her beauty is, for lack of better words, timeless and extraordinary. She has long become accustomed to turning heads when she enters a room. Indeed there is something about her that draws people to her, but when she doesn't wish to be seen, she isn't. Her body is as lithe as she is beautiful, but she is not overly muscled. She typically dresses well in long flowing dresses, often with low backs. Rarely does any colour aside from black adorn her body. When the occasion does call for colour, it is almost always a royal purple-- to match her eyes.

Personality
While some would describe Aislin as a cold, distant aristocrat, they would be quite mistaken. Aislin, though poised, is a very passionate woman. If she is playing her viola, crafting a ring or in a heated debate, there is no lack of fire in her eyes. While it is true that she is the product of her breeding and finishing school, she has never let that stand in the way of her heart. She has a voracious appetite for knowledge and art in all forms. She's also a very open woman. She judges no one by her first impressions of them, and she will try anything once.

Story
For centuries, Lady Aislin Byrne's family has lived just outside of Kielder in the northern reaches of England, a stone's throw from Scotland. She comes from a long line of artists, scholars and musicians that are well-respected by their peers. She too possesses several talents, though none of as much note as her ancestors. She is a social woman, having inherited her wealth from her parents before she was 18. She has a taste for wine, music and men, and there are rumors that she has been caught more than once with her hands in someone else's pockets.

While openly the story of her trip to America is to support and nurture a small artist's commune in Gotham, many believe she is trying to escape her reputation and perhaps legal consequences of some of her prior activities. Nevertheless, she has made Gotham her home now and seems to want to fit in with the local color... and possibly take some back to England with her.
